Bringing Operations Support Systems from the Back Office to Front of Mind
Broadband operators often find themselves relying on a patchwork of tools and systems to support operations and hoped for subscriber growth. This incremental approach has often led to inefficiencies across critical handoff points in their processes. These inefficiencies—previously overshadowed by other priorities—eventually pose significant risks to financial performance and customer satisfaction as providers attempt to meet demand and scale operations. Continuing with the “old tools” does not allow operators to achieve the financial growth that is desired and can, if not improved, result in tarnished reputations and churned customers, reducing the prospect of obtaining outside funding for expansion.
Operators often get stuck in the quagmire of swivel chair operations between multiple home-grown systems, the inability to determine serviceability, inventory discrepancies, fragmented order input and orchestration through provisioning and activation, and inefficient support and scheduling of field service technicians.
This webinar will focus on the need for end-to-end integration of key operational workflows, including sales, serviceability assessments, inventory management, order management and orchestration, billing, and on-going customer care.
